Reginka's lesson

Reginka’s Lesson is a one-hander that deals with a feisty elderly holocaust survivor, Reginka, who takes up the recorder to please her neurotic daughter but finds that yet again tragedy is waiting to strike.

Reginka’s Lesson is a sad, moving and funny play about the triumph of the human spirit.

It won the Sydney Theatre Company Short Play Prize and the Elizabethan Theatre Trust Biennial Play Award. It was premiered the Stage Company, Adelaide, starring Myra de Groot and later produced in Melbourne by Playbox, withBeverley Dunne in the lead.
